- controversy by shooting four black youths who he claimed were
- menacing him in a New York City subway car; with testicular
- cancer; in New York City. Acquitted of attempted murder and
- assault but convicted of carrying an unlicensed handgun, Goetz
- served eight months in prison. Darrell Cabey, partially
- paralyzed by one of Goetz's shots, is suing him for $50 million.
